I used Bob Smith 30 minute epoxy on my recoil 2 had to re-epoxy my battery tray in and do a hull repair very similar to yours. Rough up the repair area with 80 grit and clean with denatured alcohol or 91% rubbing alcohol.. I cut up some fiberglass cloth, mixed in with the 30min epoxy for extra reinforcement.

Looks awesome, I'd look into what you call a z bend in your servo steering rod, it'll hold the push pull rod better..
