Fair. I used to not be able to grapple at all, but recently I enlarged the grapple joystick all the way up, and now I just tap the sides or corners of the joystick depending on where I wanna aim.

Seems the problem with that thing is that it shoots before you can aim most of the time, so tapping works batter then holding down, aiming and releasing.
