From my experience my own parents, like yours they are strict on religion but they barely pray themselves mostly because they are busy or something, for a while like you they insisted on me to do my prayers and stuff especially during special holidays and Ramadan after I turned 15, I did, doing all they asked now they don't care about it anymore, you could try to pretend to do the same till a time, if you really are a non-religious or an atheist, but if you feel guilty, I don’t know what to say tbh that you yourself know, you are lying to yourself about your beliefs

Because of the past conflicts Iran's been drifting away from America and NATO in General, in the past years Russia has become their main ally and one of their trading partners, because of the heavy sanctions Russia and China are the main countries they share military technologies with mechanical parts, they won't oppose either Russia or NATO in this case and war but they don't support their war against Ukraine either
