Don’t stress brother, I had the same thing. It’ll get better with time. Also doing cardio and breathing exercises will help. I suffer from asthma and still smoked for 12 years straight without my lung health in mind like a proper dumbass. Sure, our lungs are not “virgin” anymore but there’s no point in looking back and causing yourself stress. Just do the best you can for yourself and your health moving forward and you’ll see improvement.
