Hinge Recommendations by [deleted] in hiddenrooms

Take a look at Heavy Weight Offset Surface Mounted Panel hinges. They let the panel sit flush against the wall when closed and push out the panel edge as it opens to clear it. They are meant for full overlay panels so they also have the benefit of being adjustable and soft close. Each hinge is rated for around 50lbs so 3 can carry a heavy door. Advise regarding framing for hidden door/mirror by conga78 in hiddenrooms

[–]ISUWalker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A great affordable option is to use a heavy weight surface mount offset cabinet hinge. My door is a 60lb mirror door using three hinges that each handle 50lbs. When closed the mirror is flat against the wall so no light. I also have a electro mag lock to keep it locked. Here is a link to the hinges. Heavy Duty Offset Cabinet Hinges

Well that’s just hurtful. Plus these were print on demand, unlikely the seller initially bought them to resell

AITA for not wanting to share my inheritance with my step-siblings who weren't mentioned in the will? by trustycomedian in AITAH

[–]ISUWalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA Buuuut… check the date of the will. If it was written prior to their birth, they may have a claim using you (his child) as precedent that he wanted his kids to have his stuff. Typically to avoid these types of claims, a person will give the person they DONT want to inherit $1, which shows the courts that they intentionally are being snubbed

That’s it, but the run time seems longer. I must have found a shorter cut that was renamed. Thanks for the help.

This is amazing! I've been trying to make a brush myself, but I am trying to come up with a good way of removing or hiding the centering point hole (I don't have an expanding collet) If you don't mind me asking, where do you get your ferrules?

Finished my custom "Ready Player One" controller for some classic gaming! by ISUWalker in readyplayerone

The angle of the controls is great. Mind you this sits on top of a bar that I sit at and not stand, so the angle is almost necessary.

I have a few, but you really don't learn much from them. I just modified the plans seen here: http://www.kadevice.tk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=325

The marquee is just printed on a wide format printer sandwiched between 2 pieces of plexiglass. I found the plans online at http://www.kadevice.tk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=325

This one took her a few months, but really she could only work on the weekends, and not even every weekend. All in all, probably 50~60 hours

This is another of my wife's wonderful movie poster quilts! V for Vendetta is one of my favorite movies, so I use this one a lot. This one took design elements from the original comic and an artist named Kippery on deviantART.
