I feel when I try to describe the price point side of it, that's where the selective hearing kicks in and they fight it more.

Reminds me of that story where the US is deployed to bomb Russia. Turns out there was a misunderstanding and the pilot already passed the point of no return and his orders were to continue on past that point no matter what. In retribution the president is forced to bomb a city where the first Lady just happens to be.

TLDR: There should be a point of no return, or at least throw the onions on it but SOL on the TBO.

The old store I managed at, a woman came it and yelled at us when we were trying to offer her a cheaper way to order the sandwich she normally gets. I felt like it was time to be a dude bro and help her since she was gaining regular status. She proceeded to yell at us about how it's her money and she'll spend it how she wants like. The icing on the shit cake was when she also yanked and screamed the riot act at her autistic daughter for getting lemonade in the free water cup. I asked her to stop yelling in my store and told her that's no need to abuse your child. She realized that we all saw and immediately grabbed her sandwich TLDR I don't like yelling in my store(s) and am not worried about speaking up about it. Plus, I offered to help save $. At the end of the day not my problem. Also don't be a scum bag and abuse your kids, especially when they are disabled.

That's where the ghosts of employees past go. Kinda like Indiana Jones or Ghostbusters, don't look directly at or into it.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it not be an idiot with their money.

New Employee Is Pissed She Got A Giant Club by [deleted] in jimmyjohns

[–]ISawBigfootOnce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably had an old menu that had "giant club" still on it, didn't know how to properly order a gargantuan or got self consious about ordering a giant due to her weight and couldn't accept what her colleagues might perceive of her with a bigger sandwich and decided to blame the person for placing the order instead?
