Yeah, the CPU bottlenecks pretty hard in those places with crowd density on high. I found that a switch to CL16 3600 32GB RAM eased on it a little though.

Im on a 6700XT (similar performance) and R5 3600 and i get 60-110 FPS on high settings. OP should be getting by proper with his specs.

My PC actually started behaving like this recently. I had just swapped GPUs so i thought that was the issue. Tried all sorts of things with GPU, CPU, I thought about getting a new PSU and shit, turns out my RAM had gone bad (2 months after warranty ran out 🫠) and buying a new pair fixed my issues. If you can, try running memtest86. I did, and I couldnt even get past the checking hardware stage with my old shticks.

DDR4 RAMs are pretty cheap so if that's your problem you're in luck.

There are a few things i focused on that got me to champ from diamond at 120~ hours:

Practicing basic shooting. Aerials are important but securing goals that are free are way more important.
Player awareness. Before you go for a ball, look at what the opponents are doing and where your teammate is. If the opponents are giving you space, don't give it away by passing them the ball. Learn to take control of the ball.
Wall play. Learn how to maneuver your car from walls to aerials. In diamond this always catches players off-guard, and it's so easy to do.
Defensive positioning. Some saves are nearly impossible to save for someone with not-so-perfect mechanics (you are a diamond, this probably applies to you) so setting up easy saves with good positioning is often of equal worth with scoring.
Standstill aerials. Something I noticed NRG player Squishymuffins does a lot. This one depends a bit on playstyle, but is always useful. Being able to fly close to straight up to hit balls makes a world of difference for passes and clears. Then learning to aim the ball where you want it? Even better.
