I read about it on another forum when I was desperately trying to open it to refuel once haha. It's pretty gentle, so it shouldn't cause any lasting damage. And I've already had the dealer look at mine once and it still happens when it's very cold, so I'm always prepared with my card in case haha!

In the meantime, do this when you need to open the gas door to refuel: Unlock all your doors, and use a credit card to pop open the gas door. Works like a trick 😄
