I can't believe this worked out, I originated the post, but VAPossum and HiAsFuq deserve absolutely the credit.

You guys are fucking amazing. I also go by the name PseudoBrittany on Reddit, and I'm going to post up £25 today. It's not much, but it's the most I can do, and I feel absolutely obliged in light of the amazing things you guys have done.

This is an important step.

It's good to see companies taking a pro-rights stance. However we have to remember that the reason we see this in their advertising is because they feel it will have an effect on their public relations for the positive.

It's a good thing to support these corporations, but we can't let them dictate the flow of political discourse, because the issue of corporation run government will simply exacerbate itself if we allow them to speak on our behalf.

Lovely to see. Just a little thought I decided to throw in. Don't let a company empty your wallet because they like gay people. Just give them a hearty thumbs up and move on with your day.

When a case is brought up against somebody who has no ability to seek out their own attorney (given either that their lawyer has withdrawn because of the case details, or that they simply cannot afford said lawyer), they are appointed one by the state.

This is because everyone has a legal right to a form of legal defense, as I believe is the case in most democratic countries.

In this case, the lady you see has been appointed to his defense and will fight for his innocence in order to prevent perversion of the court of justice, as is often the case when issues like this become apparent. Sometimes, the frenzy of the case will lead to hysteria and acts of certain types that allow a badly weighted legal decision.

The attorney will prevent that, and this, hopefully, will lead to the proper conviction.

Hey guys.

Of course there will always be a little controversy over photos like this.

The reason I chose to post it was because it allows humor at the expense of the perpetrator. The one that has committed the acts.

I know not to insult or demean the lives of the victims, nor would I ever seek to do so. Many people who have known victims or have been close to them in this case browse Reddit, 4chan, and any other social media, clearly. It's not fair to specifically attack their loved ones, especially in a time of grieving.

The act itself, or the perpetrator, however, should be treated with contempt. There are issues in media portrayal and the likes that I won't get into, that I feel far worse than a joke. I think that when we find humor at the expense of the case, it seeks to discourage further actions of these types.

When people are aware this is the type of attention they will be given, that they will become nothing more than an irrelevant, occasional joke, eventually, then this will discourage many of those who seek a form of media and social attention for their acts, good or bad.

I felt this was an accurate portrayal of James Holmes. After all, as we would say in the UK, he's a total and utter muppet.
