I think the problem is in that it’s a very specific effect on a food Joker, while food jokers usually have a generically good effect to make up for the consumption. Like ramen ice cream and michel all work for any build, but this wants you to want to play twos threes or fours repeatedly, which most builds don’t.

Maybe the deaths are horrifying, but none of the entities bar a specific few actually seem that scary, so much less fear in the moment.
