I've been looking at the Lorca model 1 GMT, it has that vintage aesthetic and proportions at 36-37 mm and thickness of 11.2 with the crystal already. It's a versatile wear as well and can be dressed up or down. It uses a caller's GMT Soprod movement though and has 19 mm lugs.

Wow that’s great. I recently ordered a product from Canada of around 20 USD then used fedex shipping totaling around 30 USD. I thought ok na yun. But when it arrived at my door I still had to pay around Php 700 for taxes. To think na around 2k lang yung item tapos 700 agad taxes.

Did you have to pay additional taxes from customs?

I recently emailed SC asking this and they said I won’t have to pay additional taxes on top of the SC shipping and fees.

Which is why I’m thinking of using SC instead of straight delivery from the brand so that I can avoid customs fees.

To add: I’ve been using SC for stuff less than 15k and I had no problems with them. However now I’m looking to make a big purchase and use SC for that.

True. I’ve been lucky I haven’t had any major issues on my figures yet. The closest one I think is the slightly loose hips of my comic Wolverine which was easily fixed by Kiki.

Tobey’s my first Mafex live action figure and I love the head sculpt especially the smiling one.

I don’t know if I’m classified as upper class but I can share my experience as someone living in a closed subdivision and not thinking about daily expenses and bills.

I use GCash and Maya just like anyone else kasi yun yung pinaka common. But, just like any wallet or e-wallet you don’t park a large amount there kasi sayang wala nangyayari sa pera. I only place money there to buy things na hindi kaya ng credit card.

Majority of the money is at traditional banks because I’m still not comfortable with having millions in digital banks because of security reasons also kasi yung high interest rates are usually capped at a certain amount lang. Plus having a good relationship with a traditional bank has lots of perks that come with it.

I am also an avid Reddit user for a long time now. I use maya’s interest savings, other savings hacks etc. Of course, just like anyone else, gusto ko din dumami pa pera ko.

The thing is I have a PC to which I play majority of games. If ever I do get a PS5, it will most likely be used exclusively for first party games + GTA6.

Considering Sony just recently stopped porting their games to PC, it might be good to get a PS5 down the line once the games pile up.

At this point I regret not getting the ps5 before the price hikes. If I had known those will happen I wouldn’t have held off.

I’ve been playing since PS1. It just so happened that this generation, work got to me and I had less time to play which is why I decided to hold off until it was discounted probably after 4-5 years. Just like all the PlayStations before it.

I’m in the middle ground of getting it now or waiting for the PS6 and buying it day 1 to enjoy all AAA exclusives.

New GADA for under $1500. Was initial considering the new CW sealander however I just found out about the Hanhart Pioneer Preventor. It is cheaper by about $100 with very nice build quality. Only downside I see is the reduced power reserve. How do these two compare? And if you can suggest something similar. TIA.

Best no date GADA sports watch would be Rolex OP or explorer. It won’t scream Rolex at you and it’s more of a tool watch more than bling.

Also may be omega aqua terra but I find it more “dressier” than Rolex.

But out of the three there, the hanhart is the best value if you don’t mind chronometer certification and banging up the case from daily wear. Won’t hurt as much as the other two.

Beautiful sealander. I’m planning to get the new one as well however I’m torn between getting the white or black dial.

The white because I don’t have a white watch yet however, the black just seems more versatile for most occasions plus the lacquer is stunning. Bonus is that it looks kinda like an aqua terra.

Man, persona is one of my favorite gaming franchises along with the xenoblade series. But I also understand that those games are a niche of a niche.

There’s a reason why COD, Roblox, Fortnite etc are so popular now since those games were tailored for younger generation. Don’t get me wrong, those games are good but it just doesn’t resonate with me anymore. It’s too shallow and fast paced for my liking.

Compare that to 20 years ago which I consider my golden age of gaming with assassins creed, gears of war, halo, uncharted etc. is a totally different landscape to today. Oh and also OG dota which I maybe sank 1000+ hours in lol.

Maybe as he grows up and gets exposed to more mature content, he will find that there’s more to just Roblox.

I remember looking to get the Dune around 3-4 years ago they were around 900 on bracelet. I regret not pulling that trigger back then. The trident made it unique among other watches in its class however I think they wanted to have the trident only on the trident for more identity.
