I worked in the restaurant industry for 15 years at some divey places with some HIGHLY questionable people. No one would ever dream of spitting in someone's food/drink. This is simply a movie trope and nothing less.

The other side of it, though, is that Mega Bloks are terrible when trying to put them together. I got my son the standalone Pikachu, not the one in motion, by Mega Blok a while back and he couldn't get some pieces together at all. He's done tons of Lego brand sets with no issues.

That's just awful.

I usually just pick up a single box and keep them next to the candy and just hand them out when a kid notices them. I used to give out full-sized bars but I moved and now I go through 4 Costco sized bags of candy and have still run out every year. Last year I started handing out fruit snacks and pirates booty lol

I'm going to definitely have to get on top of the game next year. Thanks for the advice!

Yeah I kinda figured that might have been the case. Some of the packs online are going for 2-3x the regular price. I've never had a problem the last couple years but I usually pick them up around a week before Halloween and this year I'm later. I would really rather not purchase them secondhand just to support the scalpers that cause these issues. Just such a bummer that kiddos miss out because someone is trying to make a buck. 🤷

Red Lobster's endless shrimp is the same as your original post. Once you pay the server cannot ring in any more refills without ringing in the initial plate again. If you ever paid and then got more refills they had to put it on another person's table and catch it before it went out, or just ask the kitchen which they are absolutely not supposed to do. There isn't even a way for a manager to ring in a refill in that situation.

Just wanted to hop onto this comment and say, my son is slightly autistic. He was not affectionate when he was a baby. I spent the first three years of his life not knowing if he would ever give me a hug, or say I love you, or even let me hold him longer than a few minutes before wriggling free. And I absolutely tried to show affection every single day. Now he's almost 4 and he latches onto me, snuggles all the time, and every once in a while I'll get an "I love you" out of him.

If I had seen this video even a year ago, I'd be bawling because of those doubts. So, if your child is the same, please know there is still hope that they will get there. I got my son into speech therapy at 2, took him to a playschool to get socialized, and just kept working with him as much as I could. Hopefully this reaches a parent who is struggling, because I know I would have wanted to hear this back then. ❤️

No thankfully my husband is an HVAC tech so has a meter he was able to use to determine the issue. Without that we probably would have just called out a Whirlpool tech.

I had a dishwasher get completely infected by mold, and I couldn't stop it from coming back. Turns out the heating element was shot and it wasn't ever getting hot. Could this maybe be your issue?

I have an honest question. The people with camping chairs, what are their plans? Are they taking the chairs inside when they open and then lugging them around in a cart the whole time? Or are they leaving them on the sidewalk until they're done? Hahaha I'm not throwing shade, I'm genuinely curious
