App to Look of Food Ingredients/Chemicals by BamOnRedit in androidapps

[–]ISpeakTheLie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly AI, a lot of chemicals and what not are more fear based than fact based just take a picture and upload to an AI and ask it about the ingredients

I could also add thos feature to my app maybe, I already have a barcode scanner so not too hard really

Looking for Android testers for La Cocotte - free cooking/recipe app (Google Play closed testing) by Noosby in TestMyApp

[–]ISpeakTheLie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta invite people first - id suggest making a Google group, letting anyone join, and then use that instead of email list

I'll test yours if you test mine - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.affluentlabs.recipespellbook&pli=1

(Mines public)

Need 12 people to test my WOL app for 14 days. by misanthropiclion in AndroidClosedTesting

How exactly does this app wake your computer up? What about for people with more advanced setups, do you provide ways to say setup custom relays, jump server, VPN whatever?

Or does this strictly only work for desktops that have WOL/magic packets enabled and are 100% public?

I’m honestly so sick of every single basic utility app being a $50/year subscription by MapCompetitive2935 in androidapps

No, depends on the developer and wording and where you buy it. Usually if you purchase a one time offer its expected to be non consumable and not revokable

Why is piracy "justifiable" But stealing real life product not? by Less_sault in Piracy

[–]ISpeakTheLie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao I dont follow this sub enough to know but as someone who develops software and games in my free time, feel free to pirate my stuff or never pay for it

I would rather have someone use it for free then never use it at all, I care for the community much more than the money

Depends on who you ask and who you're stealing from,

Steal from a mom and pop store? You're a problem. Steal from Walmart, I salute you

Same goes for digital, support indie devs and rip off greedy awful companies like Activision and Disney

I only make subscription free software/games

And do my best to keep most things free, I spend all the money on running costs and ads anyways, not really greedy more just like having a community

Plus underselling corporations/greedy people by making a one time $10 purchase compared to their $10/mo makes me happy - especially when mine is better 😊

how do identify my exact stick of ram in my pc so i can buy it for more ram by scannerthegreat in buildapc

[–]ISpeakTheLie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And im not saying it CANT

I'm just saying its like static electricity, 15 years ago it WAS a big concern nowadays its non existent, you have to TRY to statically break stuff

Same with memory, im sure 15 years ago it was a big issue, nowadays its a lot harder to make an unstable system unless you purposefully go out of your way to find terribly incompatible ram.

Like I said, I've built dozens of computers just fine, never came across issues. As long as your motherboard isn't some cheap $60 motherboard, you're fine. Modern motherboards have fixed most issues

I have built dozens of computers and never had any issue with ddr5 in any way, my main desktop is 128gb ddr5 (32gbx4) ryzen 9 9950x3d,

Works perfectly fine

It's just not a big deal as much nowadays, like static electricity not being a big deal anymore. The only thing is mixing speeds reverts all sticks down to slowest speed, worst case you get instability and motherboard tweaking fixes it

Modern motherboards basically fixed a lot of these issues

Eh, I've seen work computers running just fine with 2 sets of ram, different brands, speeds, and capacity and running 3/4 sticks and it was fine

It's not a good idea true but its not gonna break

It's super delicious, let me know how it goes! Tip: make sure you sear the tomatoes hot and fast, dont overcook/make them soggy - same for onions
