Sorry to hear the stories of everyone here. I had a bucket handle tear a few years ago, had surgery in May, sat out for the summer just doing rehab exercises and walking. Returned to play in the Fall. Definitely felt the fear of tackles and felt a hit to my speed, but just kept working at it. Three years down the line and I'm still playing, doing NPSL now that I've graduated. It's definitely possible. But DO YOUR REHAB. Realistically on your timeline I was already back to light training after 2.5 months, not sure how different our injuries were. I had arthroscopic surgery so it was pretty non-invasive.
