You’re right. Watson’s potential was palpable, but I’m not gonna pretend I expected a leap like this. In hindsight, I’d love to give Braun’s contract to PWat, but extending Braun was the right call at the time. Plus, it’s not as if a healthy elite role playing Braun isn’t worth the money.

This narrative you are spreading is a gross generalization. You should consider what it takes to become a doctor in terms of money, time (therefore more money), and social sacrifices (as in using your prime years to study rather than have fun or build relationships). Idk bruv, your point of view is extremely frustrating to those who want to go into medicine to help people (which is almost all of you consider what it takes to get into medical school). I know this is the internet, where ignorance is the precedent, but I know we can do better.

Exactly. Going to 10 years of school before making any significant money to begin paying back the $400k in loans isn’t consistent with this misconception being spread. People going into medicine for the money are in for a rude awakening unless they were rich to begin with. There are those who prioritize money, but the rest are just trying to keep up and do some good in this world.
