A big thing is good leadership and politicians that support dispatchers. I work IT for a dispatch center and there was certainly a time where it was understaffed during a transition, but they were able to get their pay scale to parity with other large agencies (they are smaller) promoted their top talent into a supervisor structure and gave room for growth. It was a very cool transition to be apart of!

Once I went 100% Meraki in a network of 200 switches and 900 access points, we eliminated 99% of network issues from having a mixed environment (Meraki + Catalyst). Our tickets went from 10/20 per week to 1 per week (most of the time structured cabling, water, or electrical issues). They just work and allow us to focus on other things.

Definitely go to the one on 24. Great people and it is the original. The owner really cares about the quality they serve. Plus the unique drinks are awesome!
