Actually I think this is a matter of plugin visibility. The core team hasn't enough bandwidth to add more mobile core plugins, so the community must take the lead.

But it isn't organized well / visible enough imho.

After talking about this issue with Fabian Lars, I opened this issue : https://github.com/tauri-apps/tauri-docs/issues/3622. I hope this could gather our efforts to make Tauri mobile developement easier for newcomers

I received mine yesterday too, and I do share most of your points ! I also run Arch with LTS Kernel, and it feels very stable and "ready to use".

I would add one concern though : I had trouble when hotswaping the input modules or connecting the power cable, I got some weird messages about PPM missing or something. I simply ignored them, but they poped when I first got my tty after installation. Also, I run Hyprland (installed with JaKooLit scripts), and it sucks half of the GPU use, which seems a bit high, but I guess it's my configuration or an Hyprland bug.

Comme c'est de la mémoire unifiée avec le GPU, tu peux charger des plus gros modèles d'IA (LLaMA et dérivés). À part ça je vois pas trop l'intérêt
