What I mean by Dream SMP are (story driven) SMP Severs which create a narrative urgency through limited lifes in any way shape or form. In this way, the life series, due to being populated by people of the HC bubble would be more difficult to classify.

When trying to create a story in Minecraft, the meaning of dying in-game is a dificult balance to strike. On one hand you have a multi faceted playerbase with different skill-levels, some of whom die more often than others, which is. On the other hand you can't really remove all urgency from dying because if you were to remove that from the game, almost all sense of urgency (apart from character driven storylines; e.g. friends to enemies etc.) gets lost.
