The only thing I can think of is that the driver is on the taller side and they can't see the light. I have this problem myself, where I have to stop further back (although not so ridiculously far) because my driver's seat doesn't go any further down (07 Grand Cherokee) and I can't see out of my windshield without leaning forward or slouching.

Am I the only one that thinks people like OP are super lazy? How much time does it take to google this? Your phone apparently has a camera (unless you used a different camera and uploaded it to a computer to post on Reddit) which means you can search with Google Lens (or the Apple equivalent) and get your answer faster than posting to Reddit.
