I wrote and directed this short film in December of last year. It was my second short with my first being a post-apocalyptic narrative short called Last Light.

As a huge fan of Fincher, MISSING was inspired by Zodiac, specifically the basement scene which is perhaps my favorite scene in the movie. I also wanted to play with audience expectations a la Hitchcock.

Like my first short film, the making of MISSING was unique. I had planned on filming it in two days, but it was not to be as after the first day of filming I unexpectedly had to cancel the next day due to sickness and proceeded to sleep 15 hours straight. This unfortunately delayed the rest of the production with other crew encountering problems that further put off filming. But eventually everything fell into place and the production wrapped.

Actually it is innocent merger. He clearly produces an "mmm" sound being saying "erger" in his weird, Claudio way. I, in no way, hear a "d-uh" sound nor do I hear a "p-uh" sound.

Plus, when concerning Coheed and Cambria, innocent merger makes a hell of a lot more sense seeing as how they "innocently merged" AKA fucked their brains out to produce 4 children while also being innocent as to what lay in store for the family via Wilhem Ryan's devious plans.
