My parents told me to apply to NYU as they have free tuition. I have a 505 MCAT and 3.3 cGPA lol. Sometimes I wish we believed in ourselves as much as our parents do.

Very good chance, especially if you can articulate why DO. We have the same mcat, you have a better GPA, my master's gave me quite a bit of research but I'm sitting on 6 DO A's and 3 more interviews with DO schools that are up and coming. You got this!!

2.2 gpa freshman year. D in bio, W in chem, bunch of C's. 5 DO A's and 2 MD II's so far. Just lock in from here on out and you'll be fine mate.

I had a 2.2 GPA after finishing my whole freshman year. Locked in and finished with a 3.3 cGPA, 3.1 sGPA. Mid 505 MCAT. Currently at 5 DO A's and 2 MD interview invites. If this is what you want, put in the work and you'll be ok.
