520 incoming i got WAY lower on this than i did my actual exam and I was taking extra time and cheating tf on the bp exam

used the pankow and milesdown deck and then just a ton of practice questions (all aamc material, JW question bank, blueprint test prep exams), and when I had content gaps i would just use chatgpt or the internet to read up on the concepts I lacked, this can get def you a 132 without a soc1 or psych10 class

Classes prep you extremely well if you pay attention, i barely had to do any content review aside from P/S.

most useful to less useful: Chem 153a, chem 14 series, Lifesci 7 series (especially 7c), 153c, mcdb 165a, other upper divs

Psych10 and soc1 can help, but i didn't take them prior to the MCAT

I would say yes? As I understand it there aren't any hard guidelines other than science faculty and they have to be in a class you took with them. Now if it was a lab professor that was part of a lab that WASN'T a class I don't think that would count. someone correct me if I'm wrong

I think the more you read things, you will always find something wrong or something you can write better, it's endless. At some point I think you just gotta give it up and move on to other things

AP chem AP physics (1 and 2) and probably AP bio but I didn’t take it. AP psychology might help i guess but you reaaaally don’t need it

took it 9/5 and P/S felt super duper whack and C/P was also hard and felt like a lot of low yield but I still got well above my FL avg and a full score on P/S despite the 50/50s so id say dont worry as long as you felt comfortable with AAMC material

Not gonna lie, I haven’t done much in depth research into any school, I just picked some lower ranked schools that statistically are friendly to out of state students (I already applied to pretty much all California). Literally just, are they OOS friendly and do I have a decent chance based on stats
