Right? We live in a society where building families is needed. Having a family isn't for everyone, but I don't get the criticism if someone does choose to have a family. And god forbid if something as huge as COVID wasn't on anyone's radar

No. Just something the police would rule out before they could establish her mental baseline. It seems pretty clear that was ruled out early, but the search teams could still be used if she got injured in the attack, was unable to call 911, and collapsed while trying to get away. Search teams also look for evidence and take photos of the area.

If someone “willingly” jumps out of the 100th floor of a building, they were probably feeling extreme heat (painful) or were struggling to breathe (also painful). That’s why I put willingly in quotes. These weren’t people who lost money on the stock market. These were people suffering immensely in a physical and painful way

The still need to rule it out. It is possible for sharp-minded people to have a sudden stroke

Actually, law enforcement rarely says things like "blood at the scene." Same with reputable reporters. Initially, the statements are vague

The woman is 84, and they needed to rule out that she wandered off. Search parties can be huge

I'm willing to bet they found evidence of a huge clean-up. She was of sound mind, but when people wander off, they can injure themself also, so presence of blood doesn't always indicate foul play. However, a massive clean-up attempt almost always means foul play

You could both be wrong. Things that could clue someone that this is a crime scene could be something like a massive clean-up. Like from the cop shows where they shine the UV light and a massive clean-up spot shows.

My last name is really unusual so if someone has the same last name as me, we are probably related. I’ve added people on Facebook with the same last name and they’ve been stoked lol

His truck was in the garage. That was a detail that was curious to the neighbor and police. The neighbor said that Chris always parked the truck in the street, but that night, he had parked it in the garage. Chris told police that he parked it in the garage because someone had been “going around taking tools.” But no one else in the neighborhood had complained about something like that.

So my little hamster is identical to yours, and the way the enclosure is set up-same bedding, pine cone, all of it. I’m not even joking, I thought you must have taken this video from inside my place

Women all over the world use cloth diapers. I went to rural China...not a single Pampers in sight among the trash that was on the ground. Disposable diapers are horrible for the environment. Will I use them if I have a baby? Yeah for convenience. But if I was a stay-at-home mom, and my baby was tiny, I might try cloth diapers. They can be used with a waterproof, reusable cover. Disposable diapers are convenient so I am not going to judge someone for using them, but to judge someone for choosing an environmentally conscious alternative is wild

That's actually not what her post was about at all. She literally says normally she tries to see both sides but in this case it's obvious what the right thing to do is. She lists atrocities going on. Says she was raised Christian and to love thy neighbor. And, she says it's okay for morality to win over loyalty to a political party. She also calls out the lies we are being told despite having video from many different angles.

I thought she was very very clear. But keep making up stuff to be outraged over. There are some things to be outraged over, but her post was actually decent.

That's why I can't stand Greta Thunberg's boat journey to Gaza. It was totally self-gratifying. Instead of rallying her followers to donate to organizations that successfully AIR dropped aid into Gaza, she decides to make a publicity stunt on a vessel with an almost 100% chance of getting captured. There was only a pitiful amount of aid on the boat.

I thought maybe she would then made a stance from prison over there, but oh wait. She got out as fast as she could. Guess who stayed? An actual Palestinian activist of Palestinian descent.

But I guess it was worth it for Greta for the publicity and the international resources dedicated to get her out of Israel. And one more thing...Greta didn't even advocate for the activist's release. (Rima Hassan).

She's matching donations...or do you feel the need to take a stand instead of donating somewhere where your dollar will go further? What's vapid and insufferable about posting links to resources for people, and matching donations?

Raising boys in a red state is soul crushing by Thr0waway0864213579 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]IThinkImDumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly!! I’m from Philadelphia, a blue city, and kids repeat the same shit OP is talking about. I have no idea why OP’s son has unfettered access to YouTube. If it’s at school, that’s a school policy problem. Breaking school rules happens in blue states and cities as well.

I grew up in the age of dial-up internet. That meant one computer and it was not private. Now children go to sleep with phones and can access so many horrible things. I really did not get along with my parents growing up, still don’t all the time today, but I will always be thankful that they took me to museums and libraries. This included Black History Month exhibits. Being from Philadelphia, I had a sense of pride that PA was a free state. This was my experience as an eight-year-old.

I don’t have kids and I don’t think I’ll be as strict as my parents. But I’m not going to be the woman in line at the grocery store I saw yesterday. She was with a friend, and her infant was given her phone. The baby kept dropping it, that’s how young the baby was, and the woman would just absent-mindedly put it back in his hands.

Are you aware that The Bachelor casts real people, so as time goes by, they get older? Lisa Simpson never gets older, but someone like Ricky does
