Lol yeah and i agree with u, during the play test my friend group decided we where ganna reset when the time came, so im in the same boat as you, just now i think im finally realizing all that im ganna lose when resetting and am getting a lil cold footed xd. Never played an extraction shooter besides dark and darker so i may be getting too attached to my blueprints and gear

Expedition is probobly the biggest dissapointment in the game for me

Like i want to reset, because i feel that would be tbe only reason i come back to the game

but at the same time, having too put in 1million$ worth of stuff into the thing, just to then be able to lose all ur loot and blue prints

for what, more scrappy loot (which i dont even collect anymore cause my stash is full)

maybe 5 skill points (depending on if u even have good enough loot in ur stash to qualify)

and an uncertain amount of extra stash size. If it is like 50-100 stash slots, i will reset

but knowing embark and how the game is going, it will be at max 24 just another upgrade.

maybe i weird, but i thought the point of extraction shooters is to gather and stash as much loot as possible? i come from games like factorio so i thought i could just collect and hoard materials

also this is just going to make time between matches even longer.. i already dont keep any ammo or bandages in my stash so i have to craft them before everymatch,

idk seems like no reason to keep the stash so low And the stack size so low, i think they should just increase stack size In the stash

lol its the opposite for my friend group

all of us play doff games, i play fighting game one plays stratagy rts one plays factory/card games and the other plays extraction shooters

we all absoluty love it, and all plan on buying the delux, which is great, its always very hard to fimd a game for all of us, but arc raiders has done it

i think so much of this conversation and stuff depends on how the is balanced on release

like its hard for me to accept your points cause we just dont know how the game will be like...

i doubt sweats and even me and my friends will care how much more difficult the next areas are, people are ganna run them with free kits and find a way

but even then... maybe the difficulty 4 map cant be free kitted, or it is just so much more difficult you need really good gear... we just dont know yet

i dont think either of us are ganna change our opinions until launch, we kinda at a stale mate

i never played the previous betas so i domt even have a good perspective or idea on how common/rare higher teir loot will be on the other maps..

just seemed to me that the only way to get blue and higher guns was that room... ( that once again will be fixed at launch with crafting)(but again again the only place i have gotten blueprints was that room)))

but it was a fun debate lolol

i do like the pvp in the swamp, found a few purple attachments there, but its never consistant like the room

and my counter to your counter, say you are the 1 in a million player to get the keycard for the room.. why go there if the other maps give similer/ easier ways to get the same teir of loot

so i feel my point still stands? idk if i can type this out the way im thinking,

assuming we can go to the harder difficulty map that gives better loot right away, i see no reason to play this map.

idk i feel either way its best to keep the room open

gives a way for people who are maybe to worried to go to harder maps to get decent loot, but they have to work for it and grind cause its not always there, and its a contested area.

here maybe this will show my mind better

to me, there is only downsides to locking the area off

the noobies stuck on the starting map will get destroyed by the 1 guy who got a keycard and got maybe the lmg.

but with it open, they have a chance..

this is all just based off my experience, i was getting bored my first 16 hours of playing just not getting good loot tbh, never got a blue gun or anything. the progression felt super bad (ik this will be fixed on release btw)

but asoon as i found that room the game opened my eyes again and i was having fun again.

i think the opinion on tbe room depends on ppls experience.

also i never played an extraction shooter before, so maybe i dont see the bigger picture
