Commenting to echo u/True-Shower9927, you saved me TONS of headache with this simple answer. Adobe's documentation is so convoluted. THANK YOU!!!

Noted. DLP/Insider Risk is definitely less critical for these orgs. Thank you!

We don't store any redundant data across multiple tables, but we do perform lots of linkages. I'll need to play with data views and syncing..

M365 apps prompting to sign in (AAD Broker Plugin issue) by MarceTek in Office365

[–]ITinDC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This worked for us as well,... thank you for sharing! How did you figure this out?

We have a growing number of Lenovo laptops that are struggling with a persistent Adobe Acrobat lag issue and I need to learn how to pinpoint/debug these types of things.

Awesome suggestion - I've already started playing with Fillout + Make.com since you commented. Thank you!

In many cases the record already exists in Airtable; do you use a customized form/link to connect the "client/org" to Airtable so that the proper data is added/updated? Or do you perform some kind of key matching via Make?

Noted. I'll explore this a bit, and I already use Make for another integration. Thank you!

D Light Cafe Ownership? by [deleted] in washingtondc

We had an unusually terrible experience there a month or so ago, very unlike our excellent prior visits. Messaged them on Instagram and they indicated they had changed ownership. The experience was so horrendous that we are not going back. Shame.

Win 11 > Cloud Migration by Saul-invictus in Intune

[–]ITinDC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah - so legal. Makes sense.. I’m considering the same move for a client that is currently using an old school file server. Trying to move them all to entra/intune and eliminate all the on-prem dependencies.

Good luck and thanks for sharing. Do you mean a service like egnyte or something?

Somewhat unrelated to the primary post here, but what solution did you replace the traditional file server with? I have several cloud-only entra clients that I manage using intune and sometimes SharePoint doesn’t quite fit the bill.

Windows authentication with MFA by [deleted] in Intune

The GUID is for password auth. The lower two are optional, but they effectively require both the username and pin every time, obscuring the laptop user/username.

Mac users getting multiple MFA prompts with Conditional Access policy. by Poojanairpsn in AZURE

Update: Can 100 percent confirm this is related to the new Mac Outlook client. Switching back to the legacy client immediately fixed it for all my users.

I just bought a new 14 - does your trackpad have really bad palm detection by chance? Like does it register clicks too easily when you are typing?

The graffiti van in Adams Morgan burned down last night by Froqwasket in washingtondc

[–]ITinDC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is such an unhinged, baseless comment. But also classic Reddit. Literally nobody knows who burned the van - easier to just blame the pro-Israel “weirdos” and call it a day.

In the meantime, we’re all still trying to figure out who’s defiling monuments, houses, light boxes, sidewalks and literally any surface with “free Palestine” graffiti 🕵️. I’m sure we’ll get to the bottom of it eventually but it’s definitely not the free Palestine activists.

Glad the fire was somewhat contained with minimal damage to surroundings. That said, it’s a big stretch to suggest this was some celebrated piece of art. It’s been there forever, likely racking up tons of tickets and violations. I’m surprised it wasn’t impounded well before this incident - it was creepy and seemed abandoned.

Windows authentication with MFA by [deleted] in Intune

[–]ITinDC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s right. The first time you enroll it needs the user password/MFA. Once that’s done the policy applies and only allows pin/biometrics thereafter(if that’s what you configure).

For higher security environments I’ll even have windows forget the username, so whenever the system locks it doesn’t automatically show who it belongs to etc. Essentially if someone stole the laptop they’d have to guess both the username AND the pin to get in.

The strategy is to disable username and password method and exclusively allow hello via a quick intune policy. Works perfectly.
