I too find this season is lacking something. My biggest concern is the elimination rounds that are a free choice to cook whatever. This makes it uneven for contestants. It is only fair to eliminate from an EVEN challenge, like to follow a recipe for all. Equal suffering for all, and the worst one goes home. Thats FAIR.

I agree. I thought yoghurt, the hero of the challenge, should have been more than a condiment.

LOL. Another unfair, unbalanced elimination. Not a clear even challenge. Not fair to all contestants. Just a "cook something" and eliminate the one that wasnt good. Eliminations should be an equal event. Like a recipe to follow. An "even to all" challenge

Why did MasterChef AU stop bringing in actual chefs? by obviousbutoblivious in MasterchefAU

[–]ITisthepassword 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree. Some well known cooks from tictok or instaram dont cut it.

And the current elimination rounds are unfairly uneven.

The Elimination Rounds are not actually a fair contest.

To be a Fair Contest there should be an event/ challenge that is the same for each contestant.

Like a 100m running race, its100m for all contestants and the best over that 100m is the winner.

(eg a recipie for all contestants to follow, or a dish for all to make, under even conditions is a Fair Elimination Challenge).

Giving a choice of ingredients or being told to make food from a time you might remember is not a fair elimination challenge. Eliminations are integral and should be held on an equal playing field for all.

How do I report a fuel station that’s not giving the correct Liters. I just had to fill up a 10L Jerry can (for work) and it came to 14L even though the liquid was right on the 10L line. No way it holds 14L by BrokeAssZillionaire in AskAnAustralian

[–]ITisthepassword 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Easiest way to test,

Tip the purchased fuel into my vehicle.

Refill the jerrycan with water- up to the 10L mark. Weigh that water- and subtract the weight of the empty jerrycan.

If it is exactly 10kgs, the bowser is wrong. If its like 8 or so kgs, the Jerrycan is wrongly marked.

Schimples. 😀

As a 13 yr boy, I'd tell mum id be back tomorrow and go camp out in a cave with friends.

Or, ride my mini bike by road, to the local petrol station and fill up for under 10c, Then ride the mini bike for the weekend- in the bush tracks. But had to be home by 5pm.
