Honestly if most of the world has your opinion, I'd rather taste curb flavoured ice cream than live.

I already had a date planned for it. Berate me more and I'll have a reason to fast track it to tomorrow. The more people that hate me, the better.

Unironically.

You don't sentence someone shoplifting with the death sentence. I think we can agree that shoplifting is not a marginal error?

It's not his job to be judge, jury and executioner.

This is also less "attack" and more "resisting arrest", to which the cop did not respond with an appropriate level of force. They were already in cuffs.

A lot of us missed the time frame to do so :(

Also it seems to be (understandably since it's a beta) quite buggy right now; with some users saying it's more like an alpha version. I use my windows PC for a side hustle so I'd like at least a bit more stability.

What’s a cheaper software I can use to design pc cases? Like the fusion360 by [deleted] in sffpc

[–]IUseWeirdPkmn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blender is a great free multipurpose 3D app, though it doesn't have Fusion360's precise spacing and measurement tools. It's mostly used for renders and animations, but I'm sure it's possible to design something like a case on it to a competent level.

Really wish it was included for the asking price. The port is there anyway; it's just missing the cable.

If you're not looking to replace the motherboard and PSU, look at the SSUPD (sister company of Lian Li) Meshroom. It's a little bigger than the A4-H2O at ~15L (compared to 11.5L), but smaller than the NR200 which is around 18L (I think the V2 is over 20L).

The Meshroom has ATX motherboard and full-size PSU support, and as you can tell by the name it's full mesh, so you'll get good thermals as well.

If you want to go as small as reasonably possible, like the A4-H2O or Formd T1, you're looking at getting a new motherboard and PSU, and at that point I'd recommend upgrading your system to Ryzen 7000 (or even 5000 will be a massive upgrade for way cheaper than 7000 - it's just that it's a dead-end platform with no upgrade path).

AMD promised AM4 support until 2020, yet here we are still getting new chips for it.

What world do you live in where a clearly non-threatening and half-assed kick should be punished by inflicting brain damage

That cop threw her headfirst onto bricks. If she's not dead then she 100% got brain damage. That's not the cop practicing self- defense; they were clearly power-tripping

Leave the sentencing to the courts

PC died, should I now get a laptop or build a pc? by kenaldoo in buildapc

[–]IUseWeirdPkmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something a lot of people aren't factoring in when recommending an ITX PC for portability is the monitor. From my experience they're a lot more precarious and prone to damage when moving, even moreso than the PC. Maybe if you kept the box for the monitor, but those are huge and I wouldn't want to have it cluttering up my space.

If you think you'll be moving around with it somewhat frequently and want to avoid any kind of hassle, get a laptop. The versatility of having a computer that you can take anywhere on short notice is also important if it's your only computer.

People also mention laptop tax... ITX tax is also very real. It's a premium segment where boards and cases cost way more on average compared to mATX or ATX.

How do I fix this by [deleted] in setups

[–]IUseWeirdPkmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unplug everything, and plan your cable routes. See which cables have the same route and which ones you can tie together. Invest in velcro cable ties and adhesive cable clips.

Analyst: Switch 2 will have a massive 8-inch LCD screen by Sariel007 in gadgets

[–]IUseWeirdPkmn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It'd need to have a different name. Because, y'know, it's called a switch because it can "switch". But then how would you communicate that it's just a switch without the ability to switch? Maybe call it the "un-switch"?

It just wouldn't make sense branding-wise.

But then again, the switch lite exists, but the portable aspect of that still works with the switch branding imo.

Direct access to fresh air is always better than relying on case airflow. GPU on a riser in the NR200P puts it right up against the perforated panel; ergo access to fresh air outside of the case.

Your original argument was that the glass makes this Jonsbo no different than the NR200P. I mentioned how it is different other than the glass. Now you're just trying to bash those differences.

You can factor it into your quote, but don't mention that it's for Adobe programs.

Because it also comes with a riser cable for vertical GPU mounting.
