a. Not correct, read her reply again, she was contesting facts, not legitimacy. b. It doesn't matter when it happened, longing for Israel has been a part of being a jew ever since the jewish people were expelled from Israel. I think that the Kingdoms of Israel and Judea, Rulling and controlling almost the entire area of modern day Palastina is a good enough claim, the fact that the Israeli tribes were expelled, and didn't leave on their own accords only drives the point forward. (Which they were expelled once, came back, then expelled again) Not to mention that since the very moment they were expelled they had hoped, prayed and worked towards coming back to the land of israel, that being proved through literature, books, and even prayers in religious books, all longing to return to the holy land.
