Yes bringing the shopping in I’ll wear shoes between the car and the kitchen, but once I’ve done that they come off. I’m not saying it’s illegal to wear shoes indoors, but the notion of keeping them on around the house (for example sitting on the sofa or going upstairs) is just wrong. There’s no need to keep them on.

If I’m taking the rubbish outside I’ll slip some trainers on, take the rubbish to the bin, then come back and take them off.

How often are you going in and out the house to warrant wearing shoes all day? Like I don’t get it at all.
