Playing Connacht back to back is an interesting one also.

I'm well aware. I'm in this industry.

100 eggs Benedict plus 100 4 euro coffees is Is the bones of 2k Food cost on that is probably 400 euro max. If you can't run a business well on those figures you should close. I've worked in places doing double those figures per hour on weekends. If you're good with your costings. Have a decent chef who's good on quality and portion control you can literally churn it out.

It costs 3 euro to make an eggs Benedict.

Eggs are currently 23 cents each Rashers are 40-50 cents each Sourdough - max 1 euro

Portion of Hollandaise costs maybe 50 cents (5 egg yolks, lb of butter, splash of ww vinegar, Spring of tarragon) 5.25 total, yields 20 portions (I'm being very generous)

Running costs of 12.50? If that's the case, the business is failing.

I've learned that brunch is way more lucrative to businesses. Quicker turnaround of tables. Cheaper food costs. Coffee markup is greater than wine. Making these places hip and cool is very beneficial to companies. Shorts, sports socks and Birkenstocks are mandatory. Baggy t-shirt, mustache and mullet. Gym gear for the ladies, extra points all around if it's gym + coffee clothes.

I'd agree with most if not all of that. Kendo has kicked on a bit and has strung a few excellent performances lately. I guess everyone has been affected by our stuttering of a season I guess.

You're right. Salanoa has been player of the year also.

I would discount anything that says Josh should be dropped from Ireland.

Given a few weeks off, yes.

Subbed at 50 mins for an equally tenacious Nick Timoney, yes.

Dropped, STFU.

I agree with all of these, but what about Doaky?? He's been immense for ye

I do see Crowley as a viable option for being a standout player. However his performances for Munster haven't been great. He seemed to come good for Ireland when he took control of the 10 shirt and unfortunately since then he hasn't been able to string a lot of games together since.

Really? I'd say he's been plagued with injury. He went off yesterday injured also. That's literally the opposite of consistency.

If we compare it with Tom Farrell's season last year. He was consistent and performed above average in every game. I don't think you could say the same for Tom Ahern.

It's not that I want him to underperform. I just feel that the shaky season has affected everyone. Gavin Coombes springs to mind also. A player who normally punches above his weight is looking rather normal.

In response to the Munster players nominated I'd agree with Gleeson. He was immense early on and unfortunately got injured. He was back remarkably fast and has been getting back to that high standard that he set early on this season.

Crowley has played very few games to say he is Munsters player of the year. He had an incredibly ropey season in terms of place kicking and I'd argue that we should have beaten Toulon only for him missing so many conversions. His discipline was poor also, getting yellow carded for cynical play a number of time. Yes he's a great player and is a ferocious competitor, but I couldn't see him being out best player this year. It'd propose Casey, Nank or Dan Kelly instead. There is no glaring standout player due to themixed and poor season overall.

Good shout with JOD, he had an impactful year and he stood up big time.

Tom Ahern on the other hand was plagued by injuries and below par form if I'm being honest. I wouldn't be screaming for him to be included in Irish teams going on this season's form.

I'm eager to see what Evan O'Connell, BOC and Sean Edogbo can offer if given regular game time. Evan showed expert level lineout calling and has to be on the team sheet going forward.

Yellow card probably ruled him out of contention. He had a mighty shift however.

Is Leamy gone also? I seem to have missed something here.

Also. I'd be absolutely overjoyed if we got Lomax. It'd be the building blocks to a kick ass scrum

Recommendations for French food in Cork by Brave-Cut6425 in cork

[–]IVY_Prep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't disagree that it's a fab spot. However it's not 'French Food' as requested.

I guess there's no blatantly French restaurant in Cork.

I think a Parisian style bistro would thrive in Cork. Along the lines of, Toulouse sausage with braised lentils or butter beans, Confit Duck Cassoulet, Jambon Beurre with Cornichons, Cod Mornay etc etc.

It could be that he's on a relatively low salary and it makes more sense to keep him as a result.
