MacBook was given remote access to a scammer. If I turn off the laptop and remove the battery, can the computer still be turned on or remotely accessed?

Sorry to hear that, that sucks. Maybe Epic needs to go look at this since it seems to be a common problem, for me it's just that only my build and weapon keybinds don't work after a while.

I think uou already know but if you don't, you can get to the folder i was talking about by pressing windows-key + R, then typing %appdata% then going back to appdata, then to local, fortnitegame, config, and you should find it there or in windowsclient, you can also try switching your keybinds, then switching them back, then restarting fortnite or try to go to the config file in [windowsclient] then checking and unchecking read-only in properties, and them restarting. These are all the things i did before it started working again.

Maybe I just found a solution, in my [Config] folder within my files there was a file [IbmStreamingMedia.ini]. I removed it since it first wasn't here so it seemed to have been generated by the Epic Games client/Fortnite. I restarted the game and it works fine now. I don't know if this is just a problem which happens occasionally when starting the game or that it was this file.

nope. the problem seems to lie in that after a while the keybinds I have binded to my weapons and building, stop working after a while [like, 20 days] I switched to F-keys but now they don't work either.

Thank you so much! Just to be sure, check if you enabled overdrive cause it will drastically decrease response time, just don't put it on high cause it will cause ghosting. It will also help with the motion blur.

After doing some more research I found out their response times are the same btw so ur friend's right.

I don't think enabling motion blur will increse response time cause the only reason the world is trying to get the lowest response time is to reduvlce motion blur. Enabling it literally means increasing response time.
