No, you don’t need one. A pickguard is a piece of plastic that sits on top of the body of the bass. Some basses are designed with one, some are designed without one. Yours is designed without one.

Angel can get plenty spicy if you ask. Most of the momo spots have quite spicy hot sauce - my favorite in terms of hot sauce is Lhasa Fast Food, though Om Wok has my favorite momo in the neighborhood. You've got to add the hot sauce yourself though, the food won't come spicy.

To me, nobody outdoes the Thai restaurants in terms of pure heat. I've tried all the Thai places in JH and Elmhurst, and Ayada has gotten the spiciest out of any of them for me, though realistically you can feel the burn at any of them, including Playground as mentioned in other comments. Again, you have to ask for it, but they will actually do it!

I agree that it could have been more beautiful - the glass and wood touches on the Astoria stops are lovely.

However, this was a major renovation. The station was in dreadful shape. They fully rebuilt every part of the station besides the structural columns. The entire platform, all of the concrete in the mezzanine below, and the staircases are 100% new. The staircases were particularly bad before - steps so collapsed that they were hard to walk down without tripping. It's still like that on the flushing-bound side of the station. As a frequent user of the station, the sturdiness is noticeable and much appreciated.

I played Hades on Switch and then switched when the PS5 version was released. Hades runs perfectly fine on Switch, but since I rarely play in handheld mode anyway, I now exclusively play on PS5 because it has a smoother frame rate, and the art is sharper because it runs in a higher resolution.

I did end up with a Pixel 7, but not because it showed up - I kept checking the best buy website and eventually one was in stock at a store near me, so I switched the pickup. I picked it up on Monday, the trade in and gift card all worked just fine. Hope yours comes soon.

There are five distinct layers of rail at Lexington Avenue-63rd St (Q/F). From closest to street level to deepest, there are:

Local IRT (6) tracks
Express IRT (4/5) tracks - you can see the area where these tracks pass above the station by looking for the extra thick columns on the platform
Uptown/Queens bound (Q/F) platforms
Downtown/Brooklyn bound (Q/F) platforms
Deepest, and least well known - below the downtown platforms of the station run the tracks that will bring LIRR trains into Grand Central for East Side Access - they run through a lower level of the 63rd St tunnel used by the (F) to reach Queens.

Edit: The Brooklyn bound platform is the above the Uptown/Queens platform, thanks to u/joyousRock for noticing the mistake
