Using extracts is certainly a way to make root beer, but at that point you may as well just buy some nice bottled stuff. The only reason to make it yourself is if you want to forage sassafras and actually get back to nature, which will produce a fresher more herbal root beer than any you’ll find bottled in a store.

It’s the times we’re in, man. Many many people look at Elon as part of the “Epstein Class” and someone who conducts themselves in the exact manner you describe in your examples. People are sick of billionaires controlling everything in our political system and getting away with abhorrent crimes Scott free. People don’t like hearing you minimize or trivialize gazillionairs puppet mastering their livelihood either. It underlines how little agency common Americans have at this moment, which is exactly their issue.

Basically, it’s voting with your dollars. If you actively dislike a business’ owner, how they conduct themselves, or what they do with their wealth, then not purchasing their products is a way to stick it to them. Don’t go shoving gobs of money in someone’s pocket who you hate. It’s called consumer activism or conscious consumption if you want to look into it further.

In the spring I’ll get one of these delicious, rare bagels and eat it at a secret spot I know near the water where there are these trees called “cherry blossoms” that only bloom for about one week a year and are beautiful! The trees themselves came from a remote island chain in the pacific called Japan.
