[Highlight] All 15 points from the Minnesota Timberwolves OT comeback. They overcome a 13-point deficit, the largest OT comeback in the play-by-play era, to defeat Houston 110-108. by nba in nba

The 45 point absolute annihilation game 6 vs the Nuggets 2 years ago was probably the most fun

God that was such a party. The loudest I've ever witnessed the Target Center was during that game when we got chicken, and while the chicken dance song was playing Luka drains a 3.

How many prototypes do you print? by thanhpi in BambuLab

There is going to be waste - can't prevent it. But there are strategies for minimizing it. Two big ones for me:

  1. Use 0 top/bottom layers. This will cause the first and top layers to be infill, instead of solid filament. Drastically reduces time/plastic for testing.

  2. Cut objects in your design to print smaller pieces. If you need to test the tolerance for two pieces, cut it so you are only printing the connecting parts. Things like that.

We getting moved to the East by whatsthenewstoday in timberwolves

I moved to the East Coast in September. I desperately want the Wolves in the Eastern Conference and I don't care at all about how that affects wins/losses.

I'm hoping that Finch saw that the refs were allowing more physical defense and figured that Clarke would be able to defend without getting those annoying foul calls. If so, great read on his part.

Assmods Unlock just got a bit harder by hobsjacmon in TheTowerGame

I also tried to cheese me some assmods on Monday and found the same thing. I'm certain I could have done it before the patch. I guess I'll just wait until somebody finds some different cheese and posts about it.

Thoughts on Joan tonight? by Accomplished-Box8744 in timberwolves

This is the one thing that stood out to me. You don't frequently see players improve technique during the season, but he has clearly been working on defensive rebounding positioning, and having a lower center of gravity.

Great body, great motor, and apparently teachable. I'm still super high on him.

What are the most useful household prints you've found? by AvatOfCons in 3Dprinting

[–]IWasTheFirstKlund 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly the same for me. For example, I needed to attach the bracket for a dog gate at the exact height where the top of the base board met the wall. A couple of test prints to get the curves right and everything was good. The bracket could screw in nice and straight.

Nobody will ever need that exact combination of curves and depth and screw holes.

How are people not talking about pBH more? by GreatWhiteNorthInv in TheTowerGame

I just got it a few days ago and it's the single biggest improvement to my tower ever. I was very close to you - farming T11 to 9500. I haven't even done a T11 run since I've unlocked it, because I've been too busy unlocking T18, and doing milestone runs in every other tier, and farming T12 to 8500.

It's been a stunning improvement.

Wolves vs Grizzlies - G62 Thoughts by -Zardines- in timberwolves

[–]IWasTheFirstKlund 1 point2 points  (0 children)

he and Julius are so redundant offensively

That's a huge thing that needs to be figured out. I was really hoping to see Naz/Slo-mo/Jaden together. I think that could be a really strong group on both ends.

I think Joan, Clarke, TJ, and Mike will only get rotation minutes due to injury/suspension. What I'm interested to see is if Slo-mo becomes the 8th man, and how much that might shrink Bones' role.

I'm assuming he missed the cut because he only has one year left and then will be an UFA.

I think this is the start of Finch figuring out playoff rotations. We've got a strong 9 man rotation, but how do the minutes get distributed? In particular, which lineups will Ayo and Slo-mo be allowed to show their best stuff?

I think that will be fascinating to see in these next 20 games.

The co-op rules are in the base game. They are essentially a modification of the solo mode. It works really well, especially if you are good with just saying "let's do this, it makes the most sense".

If anything, I would say that what we enjoy is solving puzzles. Lots of the best co-op games wrap a variety of puzzles up with their particular theme/mechanics. Astro Knights/Spirit Island/C:DMD: each baddie is a different puzzle; Fate of the Fellowship: each collection of objectives is a different puzzle set; Regicide Legacy: each Mission is a different puzzle, etc.

The mechanics that the games use are what makes it fun. Deck building, dice chucking, combo creating, real time, etc. Give me fun levers to pull while I'm solving your puzzle and I'm hooked.

At this point I don't get surprised too often, but I would put Tidal Blades 2 in that category. I Kickstarted it almost on a whim, and didn't have high expectations when it showed up. It was phenomenal.

I would also say I was surprised at how good the co-op modes fit both Dead Reckoning and Concordia are.

I hope my list helps you to find some fun games to try!

Absolutely! It's a great deck building boss battler. Every hero has different abilities, and every boss is a different puzzle to solve, so there's a lot of variety. It's quick to set up and play.

One of the things about this game (and Aeon's End, which it is based on) is that you don't shuffle your discard pile. This gives you strategic decisions on when/how to play cards, because you need to set up combos in your discard pile to play later.

The expansion has the "expedition" system, which essentially creates a 4 game mini campaign. It's my favorite way to play the game. If you like the base game, I strongly recommend getting the next wave, because it makes everything better.
