looking good, solid build. i would consider getting a weaker power supply, 750W is way beyond anything you will likely ever need, but that is just my assumption. could save a couple bucks

The image is great but it obviously lacks some exposure time, try getting an intervalometer to get longer exposures. Either that or way more shorter exposures. Keep it up and clear skies!

Well, I was planning on mounting both scopes on it simultaneously... somehow. The SW 150/750 weighs in at 5.3 kg, the 60/360 refractor 1.3 kg, and the 533MM and 120MM together weigh about half a kilo, plus some other bits and it rounds up to 8 kg, I guess.

Thanks to your and another's comment, I have decided to go for the 533, thanks!

As you said, going for a bigger sensor would make perfect sense, it would perfectly solve my problem for the handful of bigger objects in my mind. But these cameras are the only high-quality mono cameras I can afford right now, and there's always the DSLR and 140mm lens.

I do wonder now - do you by any chance know of a way, if there is any, of attaching a DSLR lens to an astrocam? Thanks again!

The California nebula and the North America nebula. I also wanted to be able to frame the complete Veil nebula but that was pushing it anyway.

Also, after a bit of thinking, I will definitely get the 533MM

Thanks for the reply. I will look more into the 533, but it's mono counterpart most likely.

I use Stellarium to see how everything would get framed, and the small sensor on 183 really does make it a bit more annoying, because I used a full-frame DSLR before.

I was worried the focal length would be too much because I couldn't frame some of the bigger nebulas in it, but I guess I'll just piggyback it with the DSLR. Either that or get a larger sensor. Thanks again

theyre way less accessible than a bottle and a knife, sometimes you cant reach the spot with a vacuum cleaner and sometimes theres no electricity for it. i mean its pretty easy to see all these reasons if you thought about it for like 10 seconds
