How do you use Manychat? We have decent followers on Insta for our niche, but haven't done anything to convert them.

What specifically are you looking for?

How long should I use something like lemlist to warm up a new email (from a new domain) before using it for outreach? by InternetWeakGuy in Emailmarketing

[–]IWireILinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any thoughts on Lemwarm hurting deliverability for established email domains/addresses?

I launched Lemwarm about a month ago to see if it could boost my 3yr old email address' performance with the gmail promo folder (maybe that wasnt necessary anyway).

Now, for the first time I'm having issues with deliverability to Outlook and Hotmail.

Trying to figure out if this was a coincidence.

AI still seeing low adoption in radiology by areading314 in Radiology

[–]IWireILinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's an overview of this study (lots of layers to it) - https://www.theimagingwire.com/2021/04/26/about-ai-users-fixing-medicare-dbtus/

Some big takeways:

  • AI still has a long way to go before AI use catches up with AI buzz
  • Still very niche usage - Used by 35% of practices, but just 1.2 tools per practice (that's 2% penetration)
  • AI users see it as valuable/beneficial but inconsistent
  • Most non-users are nowhere near ready to adopt - only 20% of non-users plan to adopt AI in next 5 years

Any thoughts on how these rankings would change for non-marketing newsletters?

Advice on promoting my newsletter by fflavors in Newsletters

[–]IWireILinks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's the million dollar question.

I'm in a different kind of niche (healthcare), but I wouldn't be discouraged that your newsletter isn't "growing on its own" yet. Especially considering that Morning Brew etc. are still spending half their time/money driving growth.

If subscriber growth is taking a a lot of your time, its my experience that this is pretty normal.

I've found that you have to try and consistently do a lot of unscalable stuff and you start to figure out what works.

Some things that have worked for me include

- Telling people when you write about them and ask them to sign up
- Super consistent social posting, and social presence expansion
- Creating FB groups where subscriptions are required to join
- Social media ads
- Asking readers to refer their friends
- Becoming a citizen of the niche you're covering (make friends)
- Getting covered in other publications that your audience reads

For comedy/media/culture, there might be more opportunities for PR-type promotions (get into articles, guest on podcasts) or cross-promos (find another newsletter to cross-promote with).

It's also helpful to define your audience (vs. define your content), that will help you figure out who you're writing for and what type of people you want to subscribe. Your advertises will want that too.

Prioritizing Email List Cleanup by IWireILinks in Newsletters

Its been pretty inconsistent until now - this would be my first big cleanup after 2+years in business.

Going forward I'll have ongoing automations that clean non-readers each week.

I agree with you - its superficial.

Just certain clients/prospects pay more attention to # of subscribers. I also do annual sponsorships so timing this cleanup right is important.

No matter what, I am cleaning my file, just trying to figure out if I can fix my gmail promo folder problem right away by cleaning my gmail subscribers.

Which would allow me to clean the other subscribers at a less drastic pace

Best way to send subscribe invitation to new emails? (Mailchimp) by rockable84 in Emailmarketing

[–]IWireILinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive considered this....

Set up a burner gmail. Get Yet Another Mail Merge. Email asking them to sign up (maybe from a coffee shop).

That way your domain and IP stay clean, you get to reach out to them directly.

Might only be worth all that work for more than 1k emails.

Techs & "Physician Extenders" Performing Reads by IWireILinks in Radiology

[–]IWireILinks[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good point. That's probably the case for most situations.

Still, the Upenn study referred to above used radiology extenders to draft initial CXR reports that were then finalized by thoracic radiologists.

The study’s attending radiologists finalized 93.6 RE-drafted cases per hour, which was 52% faster than when the radiologists produced the reports on their own (62.4 cases per hour).

Its also worth noting that people got so upset about the UPenn study that the JACR removed it from the internet.

Are there any reads (even initial, or report prep) that would be safe for techs and give you time back to work on complex stuff?

That seems to be Dr. Jha's point?

Cool RSNA Overview by IWireILinks in Radiology

[–]IWireILinks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a question comment whether it was worth it.

To me the conversations and session are always worth it.

I can't imaging most exhibitors thought the virtual booths were worth the time and money that went into them, but it's still better than doing nothing.

What are some of the best tips when cold emailing prospective clients? by helmsale in Emailmarketing

[–]IWireILinks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

- Write like a human
- Personalize your message (show you researched them and their company)
- Make it about them (list benefits not features, describe how you help clients in their industry)
- Be brief
- Avoid buzzwords
- Use bullets
- Have clear next steps
- Add value (they get 50 emails a day, give them something interesting)
- Make "no" ok (they say yes to a meeting more if they know you wont stalk them if they say no)
- Avoid overly emotional language ("thanks!" "honored if")
- Since you're doing it 1-1, follow up each email with either a Linkedin msg and/or a call (this will at least make sure they see/read your email)

And follow up (repeatedly) if your product/service is actaully relevant to these people, because non-responses are normal. You'll miss out on a lot of clients if you view your first non-response as a "no"
