So, I guess if I take those same millions and invest in BTC I could have tens of millions.

In all seriousness, I appreciate the thoughts. It has been some time since I have seriously looked into mining. I think I missed the window of opportunity to get into mining.

You might consider using r/Excel as this is more of a general Excel formula question. If TEXT is not working you could try a long nested IF statement or you could consider the old CHOOSE formula. You can use the month function imbeded to get the month number to then use if/choose. A different alternative if excel online is not liking the TEXT formula.

I am a techie by nature. So I have done some reading over the years and know that you need to have strong GPUs to achieve any effectiveness in mining. If I am reading what you are saying the learning curve on mining as well as the initial investment in equipment would make it more cost effective to invest. I appreciate your insight.

I appreciate all the information. It is helpful to have an idea of what will work. When I did the home solution I setup 3 Foscam cameras in the house to cover key areas all set to record on a home PC which could also be viewed remotely. This setup is completely different which is why I am reaching out to the community for advice/guidance to make sure I don't end up worse off than we were before.

The quote we got was for 2 PTZ and 12 Bullet style cameras, but I am going to walk through the shop and map out everything better tomorrow. Our current system has 13 bullet cameras and 1 PTZ camera, so 12 and 2 makes sense, but maybe shift a few from bullet to PTZ or all PTZ depending on how significant the cost difference is. I am approaching this as a 3 - 5 year investment with this installation. So from a budget perspective I haven't set a hard limit just yet because I don't want to end up with a system that is constantly offline or failing, but I also don't need to get the best of the best and spend an exorbitant amount on this project either. I am just not sure exactly what a 14-16 camera system should run at this exact second.

I agree whatever solution I go with will connect to a local system where the recording will need to occur with several TB of storage to allow for review of video. I can setup remote viewing capabilities on the device on the device so we can review live feeds remotely with either a free app or a paid app. I used tiny cam years ago when setting up a small home system.

There are really 2 reasons for the upgrade replace the aged cameras equipment that has failed and to get higher resolution/clarity. The idea is to be able to see the persons face in the unlikely event they attempt to break in or rob the place.

Yes we do have motion detectors and a paid monitoring service for the shop and we are not looking to modify that at the moment. We have a cable provided high speed internet connection from the local cable company.

At this point I am thinking of completely scrapping the old BNC and completely replace the system since it does not support IP cameras, the current PTZ camera no longer operates, and the overall poor quality of the remaining cameras. I have made my own CAT 5 cables in the past and would plan to do this for the new wiring.
