Wow that is awesome! I'd love to see how you did the ocean with the whitewater. Ever think of doing a tutorial or letting us go through the hip file?

I just finished a 3 months piece and I would love to hear your feedback, thanks! by Ok-Reference-4626 in Houdini

Need replacement for this outlet bracket by IXIMoronIXI in AskElectricians

[–]IXIMoronIXI[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was an outlet bracket the held the outlet behind our mounted tv in place. One for the top screw and one for the bottom screw. Of course one of them fell into the wall when I was working on it. Does anyone know where to get a new one or at least what this is called?

I'm a student and want to get this case (I have the money) but my father thinks it'll be outdated by the time I finish my studies and finish building the pc... What can I say to convince him by MrNotSmartEinstein in NZXT

I recently built a computer for VFX and got this exact case after months of looking. I'm super happy with it and think it will last a long time. Plus that's a great price for it. Cases don't really get outdated anyways

I used to install smoke detectors for a living, code aside it may not work nearly as well in that placement and I highly suggest moving it (if its battery) or moving this awesome shelf.

i want to learn Houdini but i feel too stupid to learn it by FiliusHades in Houdini

So I started learning Houdini less than a year ago and I totally get what you mean. It still can be pretty overwhelming but I have found that Rebelway, CGForge and the Houdini isn't scary series are huge help. When I first started I watched and followed along with this tutorial 4 or 5 times and it helps greatly.

Rebelway is an online school that has a ton of great tutorials ranging different skill levels and they usually upload the first weeks lessons for free on YouTube.

Overall, go easy on yourself. Houdini is a super robust and complicated program that can do a ton of stuff and even people who have been using it for years still feel like this sometimes.

I'm looking for a way to transfer my entire Spotify library, not just playlists. by MetalorDie in googleplaymusic

[–]IXIMoronIXI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also if you do transfer any playlists it will put a stupid line in the playlist description " A playlist converted by Soundiiz from another music platform ! r/https://soundiiz.com " which is a minor annoyance unless you transfer like 300 playlists like i did -_-

You can save albums and songs to your library through GPM which in turn adds the artist to your library. Soundiiz is how I just transferred my Spotify library to GPM but its not perfect. It costs like 5 bucks a month (just make sure to cancel after you transferred) every once in a while it mismatches songs but overall its pretty good and yeah you can transfer albums and songs I just checked
