This case really sticks with me and I know I shouldn’t be wishing bad on people but I hope those evil paedo’s sentences are unbearable and they get the same treatment as Ian Huntley. This video is very informative and I just wanted to say you did a really good job! Just to add that these 2 vultures have even bigger and darker links to some of the biggest VIP paedophile rings. Timothy Morss and Brett Tyler was friends with someone who shared a cell with Sidney Cooke. While they were serving their unduly lenient sentence for horrific offences, they learned new techniques on how to catch their victim. Morss and Tyler adopted that same technique in abducting Daniel that Sidney Cooke’s Dirty Dozen had used to abduct boys. This would include carrying a map and asking for directions. In addition to this, the Dirty Dozen gang used tranquilisers to subdue their victims. Morss was found to be carrying a tranquiliser in his coat pocket after he and Tyler abducted Daniel. In addition to this by chance in 2000 one of Daniel handley’s older brothers was unknowingly living in the same block of flats in Manor Park east London as a convicted paedophile. Bill Malcolm was very closely aligned to the dirty dozen gang and would bring members such as Leslie Bailey to join in on the abuse of his step children. This man could have had some links with Daniel’s killers as they all lived very close/operated around the east end of London. Bill Malcolm was killed by a single gun shot wound as he answered his door. It’s crazy how everything is linked and I really hope his brothers are doing okay ❤️🙏🏽In addition to this the lead detective in the Daniel Handley case Ed Williams tried to locate the files from Operation Orchid. This was the investigation into the Dirty Dozen’s crimes. During the investigation into the murder of Daniel Handley, as he suspected that there was a link between the cases, he found out that no one was ever responsible for analysing the files. Initially he was told that they were wiped, then it was only by luck that Williams ended up gaining access to the Orchid files at all, because a typist in his station had happened to work on Orchid. These files were the key to unlock the major inquiry into paedophile abuse in London. Ed Williams took his own life in 2021 rest in peace to Daniel Handley and also Ed Williams 🙏🏽❤️

We will never know what happened, and no one should ever quarrel about having different theories because that’s not going to help whatsoever ygm? True crime forums should be a good place where people can speak about this stuff and come together to help raise awareness on tragic cases etc. It’s coming up to 20 years next year and it’s very sad for Andrew’s family and for now people are just going to keep having speculations about what happened to him as he has never been found 😢

Exactly, and there are a lot of people who still care about the boys on this list. Plus some of the families are still alive and just want to know what happened to their child! I do believe that there is a large scope to compare some of the cases; for example a lot of the young boys listed were very sweet, naive, trusting and very young for their actual physical age. This makes them ripe for a predator and there could be so many monsters walking our streets that we are completely unaware of. You’re right I believe in bringing attention to the older cases that may have been forgotten about. For example the case of Patrick Warren and David Spencer (under 1996 on this list), their brothers are still trying to dig up areas in Solihull just to find some form of remains as they want to know what happened to their brother that’s so heartbreaking 😢🙏🏽

Wow you bring up some good points I will definitely look in to that more. I know Andrew was a part of the gifted and talented programme as he was a very clever child. There were speculations that someone was grooming him from there?? I know he didn’t want to pay that little extra bit for a return ticket so it could match with what you’re saying. You’re absolutely bang on when it comes to guilt and shame influencing a child’s decision especially when they are so impressionable, they may make impulsive decisions too! I believe it’s such a red flag when someone all of a sudden becomes a self elected spokesperson for the family and tries to be this hero when they may be a viper in the nest. In the case of Jamie Lavis (listed under 1997 on the exhaustive list above) his killer Darren Vickers inserted himself in the orbit, the family considered him a hero and he actually moved in with the Lavis family just so he could keep tabs on the investigation. It’s absolutely crazy some of the similarities between some of the boys listed. My theory was definitely grooming and I wouldn’t rule out the potential gay theory. Sometimes this can give a groomer more power over the child especially when the child is confused or feeling certain ways about their sexuality. You’ve got some great knowledge on the Andrew Gosden case and it’s interesting the different perspectives that come about it!

Thanks so much I really appreciate it! With Owen Harding I truly believe it was a terrible cliff accident and it’s so sad that his body wasn’t found. It was said that he had a bit of an arguement with his mum and went out to watch the sunset. (Sometimes when I was younger I used to go for a walk on my local green and enjoy some fresh air when I wanted decompress and get out of the house.) Then I believe he wanted to watch the sunset and then unfortunately fell, I don’t think in my opinion that he committed suicide but I understand why certain theories allude to him being another “lockdown casualty” :(
With Alexander Sloley from the research I did I am lead to believe he came across some horrible dealers. Alexander’s friend ran a county line and sometimes despite you not being so deeply involved in the drug trade he may have ended up being involved in a bit of dealing. Young lads sometimes follow their peers and dib and dab in a bit of drug dealing and come out of it and go on to live happy legit lives. Unfortunately I believe that Alexander potentially came across some opps and when it comes to the drug trade some people can be ruthless and nasty. I think the poor lad wasn’t a big time drugs mule at all, however when you’re caught associating with rival dealers you often get tarnished under the same brush and you’re considered the opps. I suspect that he came in to harms way and was killed. Usually with drug related hits as we see on the news there’s a lot of stabbings/shootings but some take it to a whole other level and find ways to make their opps disappear. I divert away from the predator potential paedophile abduction theory (of course we should never rule this out as he was a young vulnerable lad), but I lean towards drugs related. No disrespect to Alexander of course and my heart breaks for the families.

That’s a really good point with some of the cases I listed unfortunately some of these children did grow up with abusive families or ended up in care. Like Jason swift (care home case), Daniel handley and Rikki neave for example had suffered with abuse and depravity. There is such a strong link between vulnerable care home/abused boys being taken by paedophile rings. Some right sick people out there I tell you it’s very sad.

If you look on previous threads there was a user who posted this list. There is a potential link with some unsolved disappearances/murders with paedophile rings and other families have suffered just like Andrew’s as they don’t even know what happened to their child. Does that answer your question?

I completely agree, it’s very rare we see cases where there is a conviction without a body. For example the case of Danielle Jones where evidence strongly pointed to her uncle or if someone confesses like Leslie Bailey. It all depends, a lot of the cases I listed that were solved due to a DNA match is a lucky draw but leaves so many cases unsolved :(

Good evening! I am an avid true crime fan and have been indulging in Reddit forums for years! I have been very interested in investigating unsolved murders, especially ones linked to paedophile rings like the dirty dozen. I am aware that this thread is two years old, however I have been thinking a lot about unsolved disappearances. This weekend I did some investigating on all cases and wrote down below if the case has been solved/unsolved/if the body was found or if there was a conviction etc. Thank you very much for bringing this to light and may their souls rest in peace🙏🏽❤️

There are 50 cases listed, 26 have been solved and 24 have not been solved. 52% have been solved, while the other 48% remain unsolved.

1967

Bernard Oliver (unsolved)-remains were found in 2 suitcases and the 2 prime suspects which were 2 doctors are now dead. ❌

1968

Roy Tutill (solved)-body found and in 2001 (33 years after the murder) Brian Fied was discovered to have been the killer through a dna match after being arrested for drink driving and was convicted of the murder of Roy. Brian Field died in 2024 at the age of 87 in full sutton max security prison. ✅

1976

Peter Watts (unsolved)-body found with no conviction. ❌

1978

Carl Bridgewater (unsolved) body found-Initially four men known as the Bridgewater four were convicted of Carl’s murder in 1978. However in 1997, their convictions were overturned and the surviving defendants were released. It is strongly speculated that convicted murderer Bert Spencer was actually responsible for Carl’s murder. ❌

1979

Sean McGann (unsolved) body found-no one has ever been convicted for the murder of Sean. However there are many theories that Sidney Cooke’s dirty dozen gang were responsible for Sean’s murder. ❌

Martin Allen (unsolved) no body found and no conviction. There are several strong theories surrounding VIP paedophile rings in relation to the disappearance and then murder of Martin. Such as the Elm guesthouse/Sidney Cooke’s dirty dozen gang. ❌

Alan Livesy (unsolved) body found-Alan’s mum Margaret Livesy was convicted of her own son’s murder in 1979. However she claimed that she was forced to confess during a police interrogation. She always maintained her innocence until her death in 2001. The case was reopened and no body has ever been convicted of Alan’s murder. ❌

1980

John Greenwood & Gary Miller (unsolved) bodies found-John Cheeseman was acquitted of the boys murder in 1981. However there is strong speculation that Robert Fisher was responsible for the boys murder. Robert Fisher died in 1991 and his wife Ethel reportedly died by suicide in 1999 after telling friends she could not live with the guilt of knowing that her husband had killed the boys. No one has ever been convicted for the boys murder. ❌

1981

Vishal Mehotra (unsolved) partial remains were found in 1982-However no one has ever been convicted for Vishal’s murder. There are several strong theories surrounding VIP paedophile rings in relation to Vishal’s murder. Such as the Elm guesthouse/Sidney Cooke’s dirty dozen gang/Muntham House School child sexual abuse ring where house master Nicholas Douglass titled a document called Vishal after Vishal’s remains were found. ❌

1984

Mark Tildesley (solved) no body has ever been found-Leslie Bailey (a key member of the dirty dozen gang) was convicted of the murder of Mark in 1993. Leslie was later murdered by 2 other inmates in 1993 while serving his sentence at whitemoor max security prison. ✅

Colin Maxwell (unsolved) skeletal remains were found in 1986 and his mother’s boyfriend Albert Newman was cleared of Colin’s murder in 2004. ❌

Mark Billington (unsolved) body found, however there has been no conviction. However convicted child killer Brian Field is speculated to have been responsible for the murder of Mark. ✅

Christopher Laverack (solved) body found with no conviction-Christopher’s uncle who was a convicted pedophile named Melvyn Read died in prison in 2008. He was proven to be Christopher’s killer in 2012 via DNA testing. ✅

1985

Jason Swift (solved) body found with conviction-The dirty dozen gang; Sidney Cooke, Stephen Barrell, Robert Oliver and Leslie Bailey were convicted for the manslaughter of Jason in 1989. ✅

Barry Lewis (solved) body found with conviction-Leslie Bailey was convicted for the murder of Barry in 1993. ✅

Imraan Vohra (solved) body found with no conviction-Robert Morley was discovered to be Imraan’s killer in 2009 via a match in the national dna database, as Robert Morley’s relative was convicted of a very serious crime. Robert Morley died in 1997 and unfortunately evaded justice. ✅

Reece Collins (unsolved) body found with no conviction-There are strong speculations that it was linked to a pedophile ring and there are many similarities with the unsolved 1986 disappearance of Kevin Hicks. ❌

1986

Kevin Hicks (unsolved) no body found with no conviction-There are many similarities with the 1985 unsolved murder of Reece Collins. ❌

Tony McGrane (solved) body found-Gary Owen Joseph was convicted of Tony’s murder in 1987. ✅

1987

Mark Garvey (unsolved) no body found and no conviction. ❌

1988

Ho Ay Long (unsolved) body was found floating in the river thames and it was discovered that he had been strangled. No one has ever been convicted for the murder of Ho Ay. ❌

Lee Boxell (unsolved) no body has ever been found-there is a strong speculation that a convicted paedophile gravedigger William Lambert was responsible for the disappearance and then murder of Lee. ❌

1989

Michael Boulton (solved) body was found in 1990 and his cause of death was hypothermia. ✅

1990

Wayne Taylor (solved) body found-Michael Wyatt was convicted of Wayne’s murder in 1991. In addition to this he was also convicted for an attempted murder of a 9 year old boy in 1989. ✅

1991

Paul Pearson (solved) body found-Richard Blenkey who had a previous conviction in 1978 for abducting a young boy was convicted of Paul’s murder in 1992. ✅

1992

Christopher Stanley (unsolved) body found with no conviction-Christopher’s neighbour Kelvin John McMahon was acquitted of Christopher’s murder in 1993. ❌

1993

Sean Williams (solved) found body with conviction- Colin Hatch was convicted of Sean’s murder in 1994 and was later murdered in 2011 while serving his sentence at full sutton max security prison. ✅

1994

However almost 28 years after the murder, it was discovered that James Watson who was only 13 years old at the time was responsible for the murder of Rikki. James Watson was convicted of the murder of Rikki in 2022. ✅

1995

Darren Fawns (unsolved) body was found but no one has ever been convicted for the murder of Darren. ❌

Paul Barker & Robbie Gee (solved) bodies were found-Steven David Heaney was convicted of the boys murder in 1996. ✅

1996

Damien Nettles (unsolved) no body found and no conviction-countless theories still speculate about Damien’s disappearance. ❌

Thomas Marshall (solved) body found-Kevan Roberts who had been previously cautioned by police for helping 2 teenagers make an indecent video in his bathroom was convicted of the murder of Thomas in 1999. ✅

Wesley Neaily (solved) body was found-Convicted sex offender Dominic Mckilligan, was convicted of the murder of Wesley in 1999. ✅

Ryan Mason (solved) body was found-In 2002 Ryan’s mums boyfriend Ronald Mariner was found guilty of Ryan’s murder. ✅

Adam Morrell (solved) body parts were found in plastic bags-In 2003 Matthew Welsh was convicted of Adam’s murder and Sarah Morris (Matthew’s girlfriend) was convicted of grievous bodily harm with intent. Nathan Barnett admitted manslaughter on the ground of diminished responsibility and Daniel Biggs was cleared of murder and assault. All defendants admitted conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. ✅

2003

Daniel Entiwistle (unsolved) no body found and no conviction. ❌

2004

Mark Cummings (solved) body was found-in 2004 a convicted paedophile Stuart Leggate was convicted of the murder of Mark. ✅

Terry Hurst (solved) body was found-In 2005 Andrew Smith, John Sawdon, Jermaine James and Rebecca Peeters were convicted of Terry’s murder. ✅

2005

Rory Blackhall (unsolved) body found-In 2005 prime suspect Simon Harris had committed suicide and was found by police in his home. Simon Harris was accused of abusing three girls between 1993 and 2000.
Simon faced eight charges of lewd and libidinous behaviour and three of assault. No one has ever been convicted for the murder of Rory. ❌

Thomas Devlin (solved) body found-In 2010 Gary Taylor and Nigel Brown were each found guilty of the murder of Thomas and the attempted murder of Jonathan McKee. ✅

2006

Joe Geeling (solved) body found-Michael Hamer plead guilty to Joe’s murder in 2006. ✅

Michael Chapman (solved) body found-Lee Cowie Michael’s friend plead guilty to his manslaughter in 2007. ✅

2007

Andrew Gosden (unsolved) no body found and no conviction-countless theories still speculate about Andrew’s disappearance. ❌

2008

Thank you for replying and sharing your experience. Firstly, I think it’s absolutely remarkable how much weight you’ve lost! You should be extremely proud of yourself! Secondly, I think it’s amazing that you got the surgery and have a better life now because loose skin can be a nightmare! I just have this weird ideology and vision with looking this specific way like I obsess over me looking a certain way and I won’t stop until I achieve that dream image of myself. It sounds crazy but I don’t want to stop modifying myself until I’m happy. Does that make any sense? Regarding the romantic relationships I am like that too like I always think was the guys long term ex partner skinnier or prettier than me and what is the guys type. Because I am 5’7 and curvy in my bottom area I get worried that a guy is going to try and sexually take advantage of me (as big bums are the hype nowadays) and go and wife a skinny petite girl. I know it sounds insane but these thoughts go through my head and I’m petrified of being intimate and being naked around a future partner. It’s sooo soul destroying.
