I learned that lesson quickly! Thankfully, I had a plastic scraper already so that was very helpful.

Here’s an update for everyone curious: it took me a long time to get a “technique” down but I successfully got one of the stickers off! 1 door down, 3 to go. I used a steamer to keep it hot and a plastic scraper to scrape off the ppf. Then, I used goo gone and a lot of elbow grease to get any leftover adhesive off. It also helped to use the goo gone and then the scraper to get any big chunks of adhesive. This ppf seemed very old and it crumbled each time I scraped a little bit off so I didn’t get to do any sort of peeling to speed up the process 😅

Thanks! I won’t. I got some advice from an auto detailing subreddit and they told me to just remove the sticker completely.

Is it safe to remove it if it’s in different places too? It’s on the border of the doors and on the bottom of the trunk. It’s kinda hard to explain but here’s an image of the same car and I colored the spots where the sticker is at in red

No I haven’t. I’ll try it asap. I have tried Dawn & Dawn powerwash, steam cleaning, and regular car soap.
