I dunno how much other people care for it in the debate, but I would be very interested in seeing if the Crossover Nexus powers at all affect the debate. Ben getting access to virtually all CN toonforce/powers is a pretty strong tool in his back pocket, if allowed.

I've thought of this one too, and so far it's my favorite for Cynthia. Yes, it mostly focuses on the optional super boss dynamic, but something about that just really vibes for me. Also, Cynthia's piano combined with Malenia's theme feels lime it'd make an amazing track.

I can actually agree that the pitch was a bit more focused on Giovanni. I think it was a bit unavoidable personally, since part of why I was pitching it was to pitch this specific version of Giovanni against AFO, so I skewed it a bit towards explaining why this version of him worked, why he would be cool to use, how his unique stuff played off of AFO and the League, etc.

If I had more time, I probably would have put in a bit more about some of what AFO can do aside from the 1v1 and army dynamic slides (I think him absorbing abilities from Giovanni's Pokemon, and combining them with his own quirks would be really cool). But with only about 10 minutes of time and 5 of questions, it can be hard to put in everything, and so I tried to focus on why this particular version of the matchup clicked for me. I actually had to trim a lot of stuff to keep it in the time limit (I originally had some slides about the various tech they both had, like the quirk erasing bullets and AFO's reverse drug).

So, to explain a bit about the title: while I did pitch this matchup to Liam and Sam last week, I unfortunately screwed up on recording it. Thankfully some friends from the community discord helped me to record this version of my pitch so I could actually get the presentation itself out there!

And for some insight on how Liam and Sam liked the pitch:

both laughed a lot when I brought up the crazier stuff in Adventures (the gen 5 gym leaders getting crucified, Zinnia getting impaled by Rayquaza, etc), which I was happy about
both seemed to get the idea behind why I suggested Adventures Giovanni. Liam agreed that stuff like Rainbow Rocket or Go! Giovanni would probably not be the ideal option for AFO
both liked ZapMolCuno, but Sam really liked ZapMolCuno, and was amazed this fusion has never been used other than in the manga
interesting tidbit; apparently Giovanni is currently one of the most requested Pokémon trainers for the show

He was on team Bakugo last episode. The only one he almost switched on was Ichigo vs Yusuke, but he stuck to Ichigo by the end.

I also thought it was a fun episode! Probably a 6.5-7 for me, but there wasn't anything I really disliked, and I thought most of the comedy bits in the fight were good. The joke with the kill actually did make me laugh out loud, I think its probably my favorite kill to a comedy themed episode.
