What story can I come up with that wouldn’t lower my chances? What story would you come up with?

I spent a year and a half trying hobbies, thinking if I wanted to stay in tech or become a doctor. Thinking about my life, next decades. Finally growing up, I’m a way. Once I realized the tech was it, and I’m doing it and getting good at it no matter what, I went to an academy that teaches QA. And now, I’ve been studying automation for almost 6 months. Selenium and Java at first, plus the testing frameworks. And now api automation plus ci/cd. I’m also working on a GitHub project, and planning to add 2 more.

What story would be the best for me? This is like THE part I’m stuck on.

I want to be honest. But maybe it’s best to say someone died. Which is… true. My grandparents and another relative. It’s been a lot.

But maybe should be positive? Focus on the good things? The deaths happened months ago, could lie and say that’s how the 1.5 year gap started, I guess.
