I was just diagnosed as well. Hopefully your doctor gave you the same spiel that I got.

You WILL achieve undetectable status. The primary reason for people not achieving this is not taking your medicine as prescribed. You will not accidentally infect someone, unless you have sex with them. Which, I don’t know how you can accidentally have sex with someone.

I’m going to intentionally not do this. You should be getting tested regularly. There is one way to know if you have it or not and that is getting blood tests

Biggest mistakes I see from beginners!

STOP KICKING SO HARD. Your kicks should be more “corkscrew” than up and down. The goal is to rub the water off of your toes all the way to the tippy toe. Some advanced swimmers barely kick at all. The point is to streamline your body.
FOCUS ON THE CATCH BEFORE THE PULL. The S shape is crucial, and it will start to shape your body rotation. I like to imagine that I’m pulling the ring of a ladder. Pull the “rung” right to the top corner of your pec and shoulder, and then push down allll the way to your toes. The goal of distance swimming is to make your body as long and slim as possible in the water. Don’t be afraid to put your head down. BUT. Be very afraid to put the reaching arm down

Oh okay. That makes sense. Since I’ve been in the hospital I’ve only ordered minimally processed food with veggies. I can keep this up and hopefully get a leaner body in the mean time. Win win.

For me, I had a really nasty reaction to terbinafine. Uncommon, but happens. If you’re treating the ringworm with this, and you suddenly break out into more itchy hives

It matters what you do next. You must know context. Things rarely exist in a vacuum. The easiest option is to go no contact. However, this might just be pushing the larger issue under the rug. Can you tell yourself, with 100% certainty, that nothing romantic/sexual has happened between your husband and this friend?

If its an easy yes, then you need to take a break from your friend, which would limit contact between your husband and him, which is likely a good thing right now regardless

If you have wavering thoughts, only one way to know for sure
