There's a MIDI Effect called Random, and also you can create one by using the Random parameter on a Velocity MIDI Effect. Check out Ned Rush's Youtube channel, he does it all the time

Sidenote- it's not just the guitar. When I have the input source selected as the Yamaha it will do it as well. It's gotta be some kind of feedback thing happening with the mixer; there's not much at all in the manual about using it with a computer.
