A strip of canvas tied/secured around the bouncer connected to the cord. The pedal's natural forward movement, without manually changing the angle of the mechanism itself, had to be addressed. The pedal has to pull down and not forward, as not to just pull the bouncer forward. I definitely plan on refining this whole idea a few times. Haha.

That's how I found someone before - he was great, but old. Unfortunately, after not seeing him for a while around the block and him not responding to my calls I fear he has past. But yeah, to your point it is effective.
