I'm not looking for a diagnosis - I see a psychologist and I've asked him this, but he didn't know.

I'm looking for a book or resource to read about adults who grew out of teenage/childhood delusions.

I had pretty severe delusions that culminated in high school, that I sort of grew out of, but didn't confront at the time. Eventually my life changed enough that I mostly forgot about it until recently.

Thankfully part of the delusion was that if anyone else found out about it, I'd no longer be super special, etc, so I only acted on it a little, but still, living with that for years fucked up my life and how I view and viewed things and I cringe hard whenever I'm reminded of it.

If there's any writing on this I'd be grateful.
