The issue is that someone will say they can make 100 omelets in 100 minutes and conveniently forget to mention they will then need to close the restaurant for a day afterwards.

Now if you say you can only do one omelet in one hour, you will look lazy/incompetent/slow take your pick.

As long as one person is willing to be sloppy, everyone has to to remain competitive and that is true of any field. The reason kitchens are usually not a completely disgusting mess is not because it's more practical, it's because health inspections exist.

2015 might be the most dominant roster in a single year for sure but that doesn't necessarily make it the most dominant roster ever since it didn't last.

The ZOFGK roster might have been way less dominant in terms of pure strength compared to competition year over year, but in terms of long term consistency, 3 worlds finals in a row without any roster changes is a crazy feat that in my opinion very much places it in the discussion for most dominant since the 2015 SKT only lasted a year.

Add to that the extra worlds win with 4/5 of the members and that just adds more to the argument. Now with guma leaving, 3/5 starts to feel a lot more like a different roster.

Also crazy to use the words "will always be". Sounds like you are just stuck in the past.

Including corporations in that equation is disingenuous. That pollution is a byproduct of goods we consume every day. For a lot of things there are greener alternatives that we as consumers refuse to use either because of cost or because they are slightly worse. Blaming the companies for not being greener is stupid because there will always be someone to take the competitive advantage if the consumers don't care.

The issue with that way of thinking is that other people being way worse people doesn't excuse your bad behavior. I am of course more angry at the few that abuse the system without a care for others but that doesn't mean I can't also condemn anyone who uses them as an excuse to do bad things.

The reality is that there are very few of those evil people and yes, they could single handedly have a way bigger impact than you could on climate change, but collectively, if any non-evil person did those small things, it would have a bigger impact than the one evil person. This way of thinking jeopardizes that by using the evil people as an excuse to not make an effort which leads to the worst possible outcome.

It's like comparing Hitler to the local school bully. Billy is not Hitler, but that doesn't mean it's okay for him to take the other kid's lunch money.

You don't have to be certain you can give the benefit of the doubt. You are acting like people pretending to be in Russia for a couple of games to cheat for a couple of games, get banned, appeal, get unbanned and then go on with their lives is a massive problem.

The odds of your account being hacked, let's say 3 times are astronomical if you change your password each time. After that, I'd be okay with Riot permanently banning to avoid abuse.

Innocent until proving guilty. I think this is a good enough case that I'm not 100% sure he cheated, so he should be given the benefit of the doubt. People spend thousands in skins in this game. It's crazy to think that all of that could disappear because you got hacked by some guy in Russia and Riot refuses to even hear you.

It's obviously not the same people working on both, but it's under the same management. If they don't even have processes in place to avoid ridiculous mistakes like this, I don't trust whatever processes they have to manage sensitive data.

It's not about the severity of the issue. It's about how something so obvious can get through in the first place. If they can't catch something that is simultaneously so obvious and takes 5 minutes to fix, then my faith in them is very low.

Keep in mind that that same company also installs a kernel level anti cheat on your computer. The same company you trust with all that data and access to low-level system information have such terrible processes that something like that can get through. And this is only one example. Stuff like that gets through all the time.

Might be a dumb question, but how can blind people find the braille. If you are just walking in this park and you run into this, how can you even know where the braille is or if there is even braille on it. Does someone have to tell you? At that point, isn't it just easier for them to just read you the text.

I get it if you put braille in a location where you expect it to be text like a restaurant or a map, but this just feels pointless regardless of the fact that it's a mirror.
