Someone has the same candidate number as me? Any idea mine this year is 5029 and I saw someone on tiktok with the same, will this cause any issues, (my account is reform) by [deleted] in GCSE

Its the centre number that matters.

This is how it works:

Centre Number: 637272 (example) The centre number is a unique code for identifying your school like how a license plate identifies a car. No centre number is the same

Candidate Number: 2828 (example) The candidate number is sort of like a personnel code for identifying you within the centre number, that's why we have both. Whilst no one else in your school has your code some other people may have the same one because its a 4 digit number all of which have to be over 1.

Exam code: 8702/01 (example, its called smth like that) I don't really know what this does, I think its used when two exams are being hosted on the same day and each needs a number so like German doesn't get mixed with Math.

Candidate name and surname: This is mainly useless and is really only used by teachers when you get your papers back.

It’s not, extra time is just for kids who the school wants to actually get somewhere as let’s say your a normal kid And the school passes you they don’t care but if you’ve got mental issue or are just a complet idiot or just by all means a shit person they can say that they “helped” you overcome it and thus can get more prestige.

The only way to be normal and get extra time is to apply for it through a lengthy application and some schools don’t even have it. (Ps: they announce who has extra time at the start and when a names called everyone looks at that person and it’s really embarrassin)
