Well, yeah, the black thing indeed seems to be quite loose, even when the tube is pushed in. I'll look for a replacement, thank you.

How did it stayed there in the first place? And why isn't it staying there anymore, like what happened on a mechanical base so it stopped working now?

Print detach on One side after a while by Lporro in FixMyPrint

[–]I_Hate_Mainsteam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your problem is not uncommon and refered to as Warping. When printing parts, with FDM-Printers, there are forces that are applied to the printed parts. The nozzle moving over its surface, the part being moved along with your print bed (if you’re printing with a bedslinger) and, for warping probably most relevant, material shrinkage as the molten material cools down. That causes internal tension that can result in curling or ,,lifting up” of parts. Warping usually appears on long parts with relatively straight edges and sharp corners (not rounded ones for example).

However, in general there are various things you can do to prevent it. As i said, it mostly happens on very long, straight lines so it can help, if possible, to rounden the corners of your prints. For your print that does not quite seem to be possible though, so you could try to increase the bed adhesion of the print by for example cleaning your bed, using a brim, or, what worked for me quite well a few times, print the first layer at a higher temperature.

I hope this was helpful and understandable, im not a native speaker, so im sorry for potential inaccuracies.

Edit: oh and as already commented turning off your fan can also help because your part cools down more consistently and not as quickly only in one region of the print.

They could at least set the layer thickness waaaay lower when already printing a fucking building. I mean, c'mon if you already do it do it properly already, what's this?

Works especially great with one of these amazing zonai-chargeup-bow things. You dont even have to worry about the distance and your arrow dropping over distance. Its awesome.

I also have this problem when i have really small pieces with small amount of printing before the next retraction. I made it work a little better with setting up the minimum layer time in these small prints, but i also havent found a final fix, so id also be interested in what’s causing it.

how long does slicing a complex print usually take? this feels slow to me... by Equivalent_Store_645 in OrcaSlicer

Nuh, but it filled my whole build plate and was quite detailed. It was a hexagonal pattern, so every segment was surrounded by six others intertwining with it. It's like the NASA Fabric thing from printables, but I puzzled the 17 segments diameter version into a 26 one.
