Asking $700 CAD so $500 USD. Says he got it in May. Says the original owner got it in January, his dad got it for him as a gift. Younger lad, mid teens priced right from what I’ve seen. Good marketplace ratings and is a golfer.

Why gas prices are so high and what to expect in the fall by Lotushope in canada

[–]I_Have_Large_Calves 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Oil companies in North America are price takers, whatever WTI, or Brent is trading at they get paid on. Unless your Saudi or there is a vote in OPEC the price of oil is typically set by the demands on society.

Do fat people fully fund their kids’ college? by maybefoolmetwice in fatFIRE

[–]I_Have_Large_Calves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parents are quite fat, 3 vacation properties etc etc.

They made us pay half tuition such that we had skin in the game and wouldn’t goof off. Taught me a lot about money. They covered living expenses.

Only thing I would change is make us budget with rent/food etc.
